On January 30th, Dr. Samarasinghe gave a seminar talk for the Medical Microbiology & Immunology Seminar Series. Dr. Samarasinghe’s talk was titled “The Lung: Where Allergic Inflammation and Infectious Agents Meet”, where she discussed how she entered into the research field as well as her focus on eosinophils and how they alter the immune response during respiratory infections. Our lab was very excited to be able to share our research with others and connect with potential collaborations.
