IMMUNOLOGY2026

This past week, April 15-19, Dr. Amali Samarasinghe and Molly Hellberg represented the Samarasinghe Lab at The American Association of Immunologists conference IMMUNOLOGY2026. Dr. Samarasinghe played an active role in this conference, by speaking on a panel about becoming policy advocates, as well as giving a talk on Eosinophils and their immune affect on a Pneumococcal infection. Molly showcased work completed in the Samarasinghe Lab by presenting a research poster. Participating in this conference was an amazing opportunity to share our work as well as engage in meaningful conversations with other researchers. We’re excited to see our team contributing to the broader scientific community and look forward to building on the connections and knowledge gained at this year’s conference. A special thanks again to the AAI for the laboratory travel award that helped make this opportunity possible!
