On March 13th the Samarasinghe Lab had their Annual Lab Meeting. The meeting was comprised of group bonding activities; like yearly goals, meditation, and a trivia contest; and presentations to get to know each other on a better level. We each completed a personality test, and were able to learn that we are not that different from each other. We also were given the opportunity to listen and ask questions to past lab members, Maneesha Palipan’s and Meenakshi Tiwary’s, experiences as well as Dr. Nizar Jarjour who gave us insights on important aspects in research. Over all it was a great opportunity to grow as a team!
