We are excited to share an article titled “Pipettes, Papers, and Persistence: The Ponderous Plodding Pathway to Undergraduate Research” written by our undergraduate students, Suvarshini Kadipi Reddy, Elizabeth Sommer, Fahad Mian, and Sam Sonsalla as pictured above, included in the Society for Leukocyte Biology’s 2nd Volume of the year. As a part of the new Undergraduate Spotlight section, the students wrote about strategies and tips for other undergraduates interested in doing research on how to find a lab. In the article, the undergraduates featured a step-by-step guide featuring various avenues and options for doing research from cold emailing, networking, to joining research programs. We hope that the article is helpful to all undergraduates in finding the right lab for themselves. We are proud of our undergraduates for working together to come up with a nice piece to share with the community!
