The Samarasinghe Lab is excited to share that Jasmine Quah has been selected to receive the Witiak Travel Award to support conference travel during the 2026 award cycle (July 1–December 31, 2026).
This award honors Dr. Donald Witiak, PhD, former Dean and Professor and an alumnus of the School of Pharmacy. It is intended to support trainees in advancing their professional development by enabling attendance at a scientific conference.
The award provides $1,100 in funding to be used toward conference-related expenses, including registration fees, airfare, lodging, and meals.
